2015 Alamo IFT Golf Outing Report

We would like to first thank all of our sponsors for stepping up and helping fund the scholarships. We had 7 new sponsors this year. Most of them came out to the event. Without the sponsors we would not be able to give away nine Scholarships. Thanks to all your prayers we had one of the last 80F days in November for the outing and turned out to be a nice day.

The day started wet but the rain stopped just as we were setting up. We had about 62 golfers and 19 volunteers. The last team we put together came in 1^st place. “So the last shall be first”- Matt 20:16 They say “Drive for show and putt for dough”. Chance Doyle did both as he managed to win both the Mega Putt and Long Drive contest. I think most everyone had a great time on the course. We thank Ft. Sam for having us again. Our next golf outing will be on Thursday, Nov. 3^rd 2016.
