Eventbrite - February Lunch-N-Learn: NASA - Long Duration Space Flight Dr. Shannon Walker

Dr. Walker will be discussing her mission on the International Space Station as well as NASA’s future plans for exploration beyond low earth orbit.

For those who can stay after lunch, there will be tours of NASA facilities from 1 – 3 pm including the Space Food Systems Laboratory.  If you wish to participate in the tours and are not a US citizen, you must have a green card or be cleared by our protocol office.

If you are a non-US citizen without a green card and wish to participate in the tours, you will have to be considered on a case to case basis. If you fall in this category, please contact Vickie Kloeris at 281-483-3634 or Vickie.L.Kloeris@nasa.gov for consideration.

All non-US citizens who participate in the tours will need to e-mail a copy of the photo page from their passport to Vickie no later than close of business on February 17.

Continue East on NASA Parkway past the 2101 address and make a left turn at a traffic light onto Space Center Boulevard.
There is a Hilton Hotel on your right on NASA Parkway just before the Space Center Blvd traffic light.
Continue on Space Center Blvd past one traffic light.
Just past the baseball and soccer fields on your left, there is a sign at the entrance road for the Gilruth Center.
